Rate Increase

The board of directors has been advising the membership present at our annual meetings for the last three years that a rate increase was a must if we are to maintain a viable water supply system.

Five years without an increase brings us to the point of necessity.

With inflation and real cost factors in every facet of our operation on the rise, burdensome government regulations and the growing population of our community we have reached a point where we must bring our rates more in line with state and local averages.

At the August 10, 2026 Directors meeting, the Board decided unanimously to use a rate model prepared with the help of TRWA. Base rate will increase from $24 per month to $32 per month with a slight increase in per gallon rates. As of 2022 state average base rate is $35 per month.

The October 2026 statements will reflect this change.

The Board sincerely hopes our membership understands the necessity of this decision and that this increase does not overly burden anyone.
